Job Summary:
- We seek a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry.
- The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
- This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and coordinate job offers.
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Support managers in developing and coaching employees.
- Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
- HR Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present reports on HR activities and trends.
- Health & Safety:
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources in the manufacturing field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
